News today in the Guardian of a festival of social gaming in London. Festival director Alex Fleetwood was part of Hide and Seek in 2007.
The programme has collaborative games of hide and seek, a project to transform London into Tokyo using bullhorns and tour guides and a flash mob game asking participants to gather on the 28th of June at 6:07:08pm and ‘freeze’. What happens next is anybodies guess.
There is also a competition to run your own game at the Hayward Gallery on the 29th of June. It might be a stretch but I’m sure it’s possible to turn an online consultation exercise into a physical game that would be engaging, fun and produce results. Wanna play?
